Hi, hello + welcome to Shortlisted!
I’m thrilled to kick off our first city shortlist with one I update and send regularly to friends and family. Paris is the city I live and work and love in and while there’s a targeted focus on eat + drink, I couldn’t help but include a few bonus shops for you to pop into as well.

Mokonuts | weekdays + lunch only, make a res far in advance, get the labne and the cookies
Oobatz | What started as a popup at Rigamarole making the best pizza (36-hour fermentation! thin! crispy! don’t skip on the house chili oil!) I’ve had in — and out — of Paris has turned into chef Dan Pear recently opening his brick and mortar with natural wine by Sander Chiline and still making, hands down some of the best pizza I’ve had in — and out — of Paris
Bistrot des Tournelles | truly lovely spot in the Marais serving the classics with a spot-on wine list. It’s fun for an occasion as well as a nice weekday dinner. If mushrooms are in season get them to start along with one of their salads. The steak and the chicken cordon bleu are phenomenal, frites are great and if a few of you order them come in a communal dish. Also save room for dessert. The creme brûlée is amazing as are the profiteroles)
