Menorca, Shortlisted (+ bonus Mallorca + Formentera short shortlists!)
Hi all,
I hope you’re having a beautiful August. It’s vacances month in France/Europe which means Paris is currently very empty (which coincidently makes it one of my favorite times of the year to be here — if you feel the same here’s the Paris shortlist!) I’m planning a few shorter holidays away this month and one of the trips I’m most excited for is a quick weekend to Formentera. So, with the Balearics top of mind, Shortlisted is heading to Menorca!
The island’s breathtaking beauty (it’s been a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve since 1993) and tranquil, low-key energy make it an idea holiday destination. All my favorite spots are included below — as well as a bonus short shortlist of Mallorca recs (it’s an easy flight between islands). Once I’m back from Formentera, I’ll be sure to update this list with a few musts there too.
Finally, while I have you, I’m taking le SUD to le sud this September! If you’ll be in the area, please join me for dinner at Le Saint Hubert in Saint-Saturnin-lès-Apt on September 8 (reservations here) and/or in Arles for dinner at Chardon on September 12 (reservations here). Would love to see you!
Cheers (head to the bottom of the list for a Menorcan cocktail + another recipe I’m making all month long) and I hope you have a beautiful rest of the month!
xR
